Anastasia Pollard is recognised as one of the top Classical Atelier Tutors in the UK and has successfully exhibited at the London BP Portrait Awards in years 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012 & 2017.   

This is a small class with only six student spaces available. Anastasia brings another wonderful fantastic masterclass for our programme. A ‘not to be missed’ opportunity to study with this highly respected international artist, in a small group. This masterclass is suitable for those artists and students that already have good figurative/portraiture oil painting skills.

This three-day course explores how the figure is placed in its environment including; textures, mood and lighting. Designed to guide you through the process of painting a figure from start to finish. Anastasia will demonstrate how to paint realistic colour and to convey likeness with a limited Zorn Palette. You only have to look at her paintings to see what a treat this is going to be. Includes lunch. Materials not included.

*How to create a figurative painting from start to finish

*Capturing gesture, position, texture, mood and lighting within the environment

*Using a Zorn palette

We have a residential option for this masterclass (studio onsite, same building ). The residential price of £575 includes the course fee and 3 nights bed and breakfast in our lovely Edwardian Guesthouse. This is for single occupancy in a small double room.
